Disclaimer: Finn belongs to
fredbassett. As ever, I thank her for letting me play with him. Hugh & Taylor belong to me. Everyone else belongs to Impossible Pictures.
Rating: PG-13
008. Campfire - Taylor frowned at the lads huddled around the campfire as she walked around their little patch of the Permian on first watch; asking if anyone had brought marshmallows hadn't been the best way to break the tension.
012. Hot - The shirt still held his heat and she put it on, sighing happily as it slid over her breasts.
013. Warm - Taylor rested her cheek against Finn's back and shoved her hands into the pockets of his jacket, entwining her fingers with his.
016. Determined - Taylor opened the door and, seeing him on the doorstep with a rose in his hand, heaved an exasperated sigh and said, “You just don't give up, do you?”
019. Nightmare - This can't be happening, she thought frantically; she'd lost him once already and she didn't think she could survive losing him again.
023. Healing - They may have been celebrating a break-through with the anomalies but it didn't matter; when Taylor let Nick hug her without a flinch, Hugh knew she was on her way back.
024. Innocence - She couldn't find the words to chastise Finn for screwing with the time-lines, not when it was her own interference that had brought them together in the first place.
038. Rain - She knew she was in serious trouble when she found herself mesmerised by the way his wet hair curled, just so, around his ears.
042. Wind - The wind was howling but, with his lips right next to her ear, she heard him; "It'll be all right," he chanted over and over as he sheltered her small body with his much larger one; for some reason, she believed him.
046. Sleep - Taylor's eyes flew open after she felt the slap across her cheek and she scowled at her assailant but his only response to her glaring was, "You stay awake, damn you."
047. Life - She'd never imagined a life where she would long for moments of boredom but that was before she had chased her dog into a drain-pipe and wound up millions of years in the past.

on 2009-03-20 10:54 am (UTC)Thank you, Hound!
I've not made Finn too terribly out of character, I hope. As much as it can be done in a sentence or two. ;-)
